Vitamin C Smoothie with mango, baobab and orange

Baobab certainly has become a fav in my kitchen as of late! One of its many health properties is that it is super high in Vitamin C. With the addition of Camu Camu and orange, this smoothie is full of healthy antioxidants and flu fighting gold! It also tastes divine. Give it a go- it super beats a flu shot!



  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 small mango cheeks
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1/4 piece of fresh orange (peel and rind removed)
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon of camu camu
  • 1 teaspoon of baobab powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoured vegan protein powder
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy, adding enough almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
