Summer Mango Smoothie Bowl

My smoothie bowl addiction continues! I love taking advantage of mangos through the summertime, they are such an exquisite fruit. This is a perfect blend of greens, fruit, super foods and avocado for creaminess. You can top the bowl with whatever you choose. For this one I had some amazing green kale superfood mix from a company called Morning Glory- it was amazing if you can get your hands on it! There is lots of great raw granola on the market now, or you can always make your own! Ill post a recipe for my favourite raw granola this week for you to try- its greta on top of smoothie bowls or with fresh almond milk.

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ a cucumber
  • 1 passion fruit- pulp only (approx two teaspoons)
  • ¼ ripe avocado
  • 3 kale leaves
  • 1 small mango
  • ¼ teaspoon of orange zest
  • ¼ inch piece of ginger
  • ¼ inch piece of turmeric
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A squeeze of lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon of greens powder, lucuma, vanilla protein powder.
  • ¾ -1 cup of almond milk (depending how thick you like your smoothie!)

Blend until perfectly smooth and enjoy!

 

Top with-

  • freshly chopped mango cubes
  • raw granola
  • sliced banana
  • coconut shreds
