Raw Chocolate Love Tarts

These are a great little treat to make for someone you love, or for yourself! They are rich and velvety but still full of goodness! A real treat you can enjoy knowing it is as good for your body as it is for your tastebuds.




  • ¼ cup of desiccated coconut
  • ¼ cup of almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of raisons
  • A tiny pinch of salt

Process the base ingredients in a food processor or pulse in a blender until they form a crumble.

Press the base into two heart shaped tart pie tins. Alternatively, you can press the base into two glasses if you don’t have the heart tins!



  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 teaspoons of almond meal
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut nectar
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of cacao
  • ¼ cup of almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil

Blend all ingredients except the coconut oil in a high speed blender until combined. Add the coconut oil and blend well until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You can add a touch more almond milk if necessary so that the mixture blends with ease.

Pour the filling on top of the bases and refrigerate to set.

Serve with fresh berries, coconut and cacao nibs.
