Pretty Avocado Boats

There isn’t really a recipe for this little tasty snack! I made these as a snack before we were leaving the house the other day and they were so delicious. I saw an image of something similar on Well and Good for healthy Super Bowl snack ideas! And I decided to make my own version. Have fun with these and use your favourite filling and toppings as you desire.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of your favorite dip or pate

Optional toppings include:

  • Micro herbs
  • Sprouts
  • Chili flakes
  • Beetroot powder
  • Sesame seeds
  • Nigella seeds
  • Flower petals
  • Dukkha

Method:

Simply cut your avocado in half and remove the pip. Scoop your dip into the center and then decorate the sides of the avocado with your favourite toppings.

Enjoy with crackers or bread or vegetable crudites.
